The Project is financed by the YOUTH Programme. It’s time frame is from 15th of January 2007 till 15th of January 2008. The main activities within the projects are: settling a Youth Center, creating a youth information website, Youth Culture Festival in Staszow. We've just started.
FARMa- Youth activizing program
Thanks to YOUTH program and their financial help our own authors project “FARMa – youth activizing and building local partnership for youth” had been set up at 1st of May 2006. During this project three different kinds of action will be realized: promotion and advertising of the FARM in the local community, THE GO FORGE – lessons for yong people and building local partnership for youth.
Your Vote, your Choice
In 2006 FARMa Foundation had participated in “Your votee, your choice” action along with 300 other nongovernmental organisations in Poland. We were one of very few so active groups. Project appeared to be a great success - we managed to involve a lot of citizens into the public debate before local elections.
Travelling cinema
FARMa foundation is supporting the Young Managers of the Culture – from November 2006 to January 2007 the youth team “The Farmers” was visiting villages in Staszów region- organizing cinema shows which were connected with integration and art classes for children. The project was realized according to “The Young Menagers of the Culture” by Stowarzyszenie Inicjatyw Twórczych “ę”
European Village
The Project was financed by the YOUTH Program according to the Action 1s– Youth Exchanges. The exchange took place in Sielec on 14-21 of August 2006 in cooperation with 3 other youth organizations from Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia. The theme of the project was free time and rural development.
Students Voluntary Service
Our Foundation is a local coordinator of Students Voluntary Service (in Staszów Region) since 2005. Since May 2006 we are also Local Informational Point of the program. Students Voluntary Service is a nationwide program in Poland financed by Polish-American Freedom Foundation and realized by KLANZA – The Polish Educators and Animators Association in Lublin.
The historical message for our future
The FARM’s active group of young people will participate in the international youth exchange "The Historical Message for Our Future" in Lipany in Slovakia in July 2006. Our partner groups will be from Latvia, France and Slovakia and we are going to learn much about Slovakian culture and tradition.
Go sport
The project was invented and realized by kids from Sielec. It lasted from September of 2004 till September 2005. It was financed by YOUTH Programme according to the Action 3 - "Group Initiatives".
Active Youth in Local Community Life
Thanks to Youth program funding and huge help from Nasza Ziemia Staszowska (Our Staszów region) Organisation in August 2005 the four-side youth exchange could take place. There was four participating groups from the youth organisations from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and of course Poland (that’s us!). The project was realized in Staszów commune (Sielec, Staszów, Kuirozwęki). Even tough the topic was serious – Active Youth in Local Community Life – we had much fun!
