For Kids
Have you ever wondered which period of the childs life is the most important for its development? Where are the educational disproportions coming from? Many various researches have shown that this most important time is when a child is 3-5 years old. That’s why the early education, especially in rural areas, is so important. There is no way to balance the chances of children without involving the preschool children into this progam. In Poland only 38% of preschool children are participating in some educational programs and only several percent of them live in the
villages and small towns. We encourage you to get familiar with the “Report of Kids Educational
Situation in Poland”.
Thanks to the “For Kids” program we will promote alternative forms of preschool education and help various institutions, people and regional authorities to get money for them (especially from the sources of the European Union). We are hoping to initiate and help to organize such events in our neighborhood, where there surely is a need to act on this field.
The program includes 3 training sessions. The participants will get a certificate and organize consultations in April 2008. After the end of the project the consultants will still create educational projects and apply for funds.

„For kids” Project is lead along with Fundacja Rozwoju Dzieci im. J.A. Komeńskiego and Polish-American Freedom Foundation. The project was created to balance the chances of kids from 0 to 10 years old from rural areas and small towns. We will achieve this goal by creating the best educational atmosphere and improving the quality of basic education.
